why our training stands out
We Teach What We Do Every Day
A lot of programs only teach you in a classroom. What they don’t do is prepare you for the unexpected things that might come up as you start working in this field. This is where we stand out. We train you inside a real clinic, with a team that actively performs these treatments.
Your instructors are not teaching from the sidelines. They work with real clients. They perform real procedures. They bring that real-world judgment into your training.
Most of the local specialists in this area trained here. That is one of the clearest signs of trust we can give you.

Our Lead Instructor, Peyton McCann, has been a Licensed Esthetician for 10 years, and a Certified Laser Specialist for 5. She has been a part of our team at RMLC for almost 4 years now, and has experience in day spas & med spas, & even owning her own little skin studio at one point—giving her a well-rounded real-world approach to the classroom. Peyton loves what she does, both in the treatment room and in the classroom, she can’t wait for all of the new and exciting things to come!
Peyton was born and raised right up the street from us in Lakewood, Colorado, has a sensitive and needy Shepherd Mix named Opie Paul, and spends most of her free time with her boyfriend and his two wonderful children. When she isn’t occupied with the day to day, you will most likely find her somewhere in the mountains, whether she’s snowboarding, snowmobiling, riding ATVs, or just to recharge.

Jessica lives in Lakewood with her husband and their two fur babies. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, crafting, and taking road trips—especially when she can put her car‑karaoke talents to use.
Lenorah
Lenorah has been in the beauty industry for almost 5 years. After working in salons for some time, she received her Cosmetology license a little over a year ago. Shortly after, she went to RMLC to receive her Laser Specialist Certification. Now working at RMLC, she is dedicated to her love of hair and tattoo removal.
Lenorah is a Colorado Native, and no, she doesn’t ski. When Lenorah isn’t making you hair-free, you can catch her with a funky craft, doing her lashes, or at the theaters with her man. She has a 15-year old chihuahua, Skittles, who is the absolute light of her life and a 4 year old frenchie, Willow.

The traditional path can be expensive and slow. The numbers above show why: college costs are high, student debt is common, graduation often takes longer than four years, and many recent graduates still end up underemployed.
